The current NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS DPP) Framework Agreement was put in place in April 2016 and expires in March 2019.
NHS England is now consulting on proposals relating to the re-procurement of the NHS DPP Framework from November 2018 running for three years with the option to extend for a further year.
Diabetes UK is working with the NHS DPP to help people at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes become healthier and avoid the condition.
Ahead of the programme being renewed they would like to hear your views on plans to make it even more accessible.
In doing so they are leading on the public consultation which is open for patients and the public to contribute.
The survey is open until 25 May 2018. The consultation can be accessed here: www.diabetes.org.uk/preventing-type-2-diabetes/prevention
The East of England Clinical Networks has commissioned to obtain patient feedback from mothers that have suffered from maternal mental illness in the perinatal period that live in the BLMK footprint.
It touches on many of the different areas and pathways of a mother’s journey through the perinatal period and is therefore very broad, but will give the area a good understanding of the service that they are currently providing to mothers in the BLMK footprint.
To obtain the feedback that they would find useful, they are looking for mothers that have had maternal mental illness ranging from mild to moderate (acute), who gave birth between 2015 and now.
Once received the data will be shared with local leaders such as providers, commissioners and professionals in the field to help them re-design and re-shape services in the area that are more tailored around the patient.
Details can be submitted via the Survey Monkey link: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YD6M3BM.
